"Products of the Wichita Division of Boeing Airplane Comany, a might Boeing B-29 Superfortress is shown here with right wing extended over a sturdy little Boeing Kaydet primary trainer. Many Army Air Forces men now flying Superfortresses against Japan received their early training in a Boeing Kaydet (formerly known as the Stearman trainer)...It was the first primary trainer to be completely standardized for both the Army and Navy."
